Carburetor tuning instructions:
After installing a boost bottle you will elimininate the double mix your carb creates, so you will have to make minor carb changes. Upon installation your engine will have a very high idle and your vehicle will want to roll away from you as you start it. Simply secure the vehicle / bike against a wall and start. Once you have the engine running, lower the idle adjustment screw and back off the main jet a bit as it will naturally be over rich in adjustment. Please note there is not accurate direction we can guide you. Every engine is unique and has it's own characteristics. Very heavy engine loading, poor spark, humidity, altitude, fuel mix, etc all play a major role in tuning. Please be patient and start with the idle screw first. back it down to a nice low smooth idle, and then fine tune the top end jets to your likings. Once you get the idle under control now is time to test ride. If riding a scooter, Please do NOT ride with a screwdriver! STOP and leave set aside in your yard, or a safe area. Come back to the screwdriver to make adjustments and leave it on a test drive. Riding with a sharp object can be bad news if you fall off of your scooter. Once you have the carb all dialed in to your likings, secure the bottle for good and away you go!
